Very Interesting! it has a bit of a retro feel to it. Maybe the treble is turned down low? You know the 1920's microphones that didn't have quite the spectrum? This is why i like newgrounds, new stuff happens.

I would suggest panning the piano a little to the right and beats to the left, to give it dynamics. Interesting genre tho! I am wide open to all kinds of music. Nice work! But quite a sudden ending don't you think?

monk1 responds:

Actually, there were two slightly different piano presets I used, that I had one panned a little to the left, and the other right. In terms of panning notes themselves, I've never really tried that. Interesting thought. It's not so much that it's a necessary genre of music, but what I tend to do is make all sorts of weird stuff that tend to clash. Something I was doing here, as with the other three tracks I made titled piano and shiz, was combine electronic elements as well as piano and percussive beats. Yeah I know about the ending. Basically I couldn't think of anything and I ended up getting tired/bored and quitting. haha.
Thanks for the review!

Hi Cruzafio, nice composition. I don't know if this was intended but it was mono, or at least all the sound was coming out of my left headphones. Probably just a mixing mistake, easily fixable.

I like it other than that :)

Cruzaflo responds:

Oh, thank you for telling me. I will re-upload it.

Love the synth drums that start in around 1:00! Brother team-work! Its funny because i help my brother with his synths, base and drums, and he tells me what he thinks of my tracks. He's 9.

Actually a really cool song, keep it up!

Wow, Epic would just barely cut it. This is Stupendous! Very Nice combinations! Love it!

A REALLY MOVING SONG. Respect. I absolutely love the mood changes in it. Did you compose this from scratch? Un-be-lieveable. I would definitely buy this album! Holy cow, cant get over it.

If i owned a recording studio, i would let you jam and record the first week free! (im planning to build a studio too :p)

Dude! that sounds great, trance it really messed up sometimes, but i like the way you approached this one. oh and the ending was not bad, the song was going into a whole new dimension! or movement... :) i just said dimension because it sounded better.

Would love to hear the sequel! Keep up the good work!

Love the modulated synth that starts at 0:14 and the key change 0:24, and the adventure that start at 0:54.... wait....omg this is actually a really cool video game track! I didn't even notice the loop!

NICE WORK!

KKSlider60 responds:

Thank you! I was inspired by Ratchet & Clank 3. ^^
Awesome comment, glad you enjoyed it!

Love the vocals that start at 0:45, they give it style and flavor. Nice job.
And just artist to artist... We are rarely satisfied are we? Thats what keeps us striving!
Good work, personally i would have used a bass that didn't sound as.. well not bitty because bitty is good, but less video game-ish. I spend most of the that it takes to make my songs, on getting that perfect base. Its hard sometimes, but good on ya!

Nice work! Keep it up, i see some potential.

ProNoob13 responds:

Yeah, the synths are just plain LFO'ed oscillators, so they sound quite 8-bit-ish. I'm still trying to work around that. But, thanks for the comment!

YEEE HAAAW! I'm writing this as i listen so i can get all my thoughts out... ok love the change at 1:10...
2:13 is sick, real classic metal no nonsense...nice bend into a major chord at the end...Lovin' it!

Keep in mind this word: "Bridge" its that part of the song that has a different flavor but can really make a a song worth its weight in gold... or the artist :)

Bubblefitz responds:

Thanks for reviewing. I´ll keep that in mind.
